Linda’s Bakery has a remarkable history that began in 1973 when Linda purchased the downtown West Salem business from Harold Hetland. Her passion for baking and determination drove her to work tirelessly, ensuring the bakery’s success. In 1976, Linda’s brother, Marc, joined the team as a teenager and later became her partner in 1979 after completing his baking education at Dunwoody Institute.
Over the years, Linda’s Bakery has become a cherished local destination, known for its mouthwatering pastries, cakes, and traditional baked goods. Generations of customers have savored their irresistible treats, as many of the recipes have remained unchanged for over 50 years, preserving the bakery’s time-honored flavors and traditions.
A Special Celebration Weekend
From June 23rd to June 25th, 2023, Linda’s Bakery will be hosting a celebration weekend. During these three days, every customer will be treated to coffee cake and a special anniversary cake, complemented by a warm cup of coffee as a gesture of appreciation. The aroma of freshly baked goods and the friendly atmosphere will create a truly memorable experience for all attendees.
